The lodge originally built in the 16th century as a hunting lodge has been renovated to meet the Protection of Monuments Act. It’s a self sustaining accommodation with fresh spring water and heat from the properties own wood resources.
Enjoy the snow falling out the window of the lodge, that’s fully private to you, with a view of the serene and unspoiled Val Pusteria forest valley.

Itinerary at a glance
Welcome to Venice, the Queen of the Adraitic. Upon arrival to Marco Polo Airport, enjoy a water taxi ride to your hotel. After you freshen up, enjoy the day at your leisure, or perhaps a cruise tour of the floating city.
Today is all about exploring what makes Venice, Venice, the craftspeople. Visit the studio of a local glassblower or a battiloro (traditional goldbeater) and see them at work. Skip the line and enjoy a guided tour at Doge’s Palace, or the Galleria dell’Accademia.
After check out, transfer to Marco Polo Airport for a scenic helicopter flight directly to White Deer San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge property. Upon landing on the private helipad, you’ll be greeted by the Lodge manager who will ensure you’re settled in. Enjoy afternoon tea, get to know the property.
After a cozy lodge breakfast, head to Kronplatz Ski Resort for gear fitting and a day on the mountain. With 119 km of slopes and Dolomite views, relax in the outdoor whirlpool or sauna, concluding with a chef-prepared dinner at the lodge.
Today's adventure; the Sellaronda Ski Safari! The Sellaronda Ski Safari, also known as Giro dei Quattro Passi (the Four passes tour), is the longest ski safari in Europe, with more than 50 km of perfectly groomed slopes and innovative and fast chairlifts. Return to the lodge for afternoon tea and a relaxing evening.
Explore the Selloranda Ski Resort for another day of Dolomites skiing or visit Bolzano for shops, historic architecture, and local fare. Alternatively, enjoy the snowfall from the cozy lodge. Conclude with a special farewell dinner and toast to a great trip with local wines from the in-house cellar.
After your last chef prepared breakfast at the lodge, say goodbye to the lodge team as you board your helicopter transfer to Venice for your journey home.

The impact
White Deer San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge was originally a Bishop’s hunting lodge built in the 16th century. It’s been meticulously renovated, maintaining as much of the original lodge as possible. Its renovation was done with a self-sustaining mindset.
The lodge uses the natural spring water from the property throughout.
Wood from the estate property is used to heat the lodge as well as the kitchen’s stove and fireplace. Interior walls and archways using wood and stone from the estate property.
