Climate:
- Cape Town enjoys a Mediterranean climate, characterized by warm, dry summers from November to March, and cool, wet winters from May to August. January is the warmest month, with temperatures averaging around 77°F) while July is the coldest.
- Namibia features a predominantly arid climate with extreme temperatures. Summers (November to February) are scorching, exceeding 104°F. Winters (May to August) are mild in the day but cold at night. Rainfall is scarce, particularly in the desert regions.
- Botswana's climate is semi-arid, featuring a distinct wet season from November to March with hot temperatures and sporadic heavy rainfall. The dry season, from April to October, is cooler with clear skies, making it an ideal time for safaris as wildlife gathers around water sources.
